is my community of awesome small business owners. We work together to promote our wild little Isle of the Arts in the Salish Sea. There is a tide of change bringing more young families back to this rural island seeking a slower more intentional life.
Our customers are wonderful often community minded folks that share the values that make Gabriola what it is.
Stewardship of the land, supporting local small businesses, farms and artists wherever possible.
Gabriola is an inspiring community of folks who are choosing to live off the beaten path, seeking sustainability and fostering strong community links through events, organizations, and programs.
Our Gabriola Arts Council is one of the most vibrant in BC.
Our neighbours that we love & support!
Ground Up Café & Catering
Ground Up only has been open less than a year but has already become a go-to place to scrumptious farm fresh food and a wonderful place to meet up with friends and community. They also have a burgeoning food retail section with take-away items and even cheese-making kits. This place captures a beautiful welcoming island vibe.
