Making Sunprints - Kids 7-12 years old - Saturday July 23rd 2-4:30pm

"Sunprints" otherwise known as Cyanotypes are are an early photographic process of creating a ‘blue-cyan-print’ by exposing a specially treated paper to sunlight. Using found natural or man made objects you can create unique photograms.

Compared to other photographic printing processes, cyanotypes are easy and  inexpesive. No darkroom is needed, instead it uses the power of the sun and iron salt solutions. We will be working with fabric and paper surfaces.

This workshop encourages creativity, explorations in nature, and chemistry!
